Wild Journeys LLC

Hi! Welcome to Wild Journeys LLC. I am the founder and owner, Kristie Giannetto (she/her).

I am based in what is now known as Connecticut on the unceded lands of the Quinnipiac People.

For over 20 years I have worked in the environmental space at the global and local level including roles as Director of a Women in Climate Program, park ranger, environmental educator, philanthropic travel planner and guide, environmental policy associate, operations, finance, HR and marketing director, and a fundraiser. My passion lies at the intersection of gender, environmental, and social justice, and as a neurodivergent, cis, straight, white woman, I continue to train and educate myself in Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Justice (DEIJ).

In the environmental field they frequently talk about the Climate Crisis and Biodiversity Crisis. Through my own journey and as a reflection of the world we live in, I see a Mental Health Crisis and Relationship Crisis. My work with Wild Journeys LLC hopes to bridge the gaps and support healing for people and the planet.

As a graduate of the Kripalu School for Mindful Outdoor Leadership and the Aura Institute’s Trauma Practitioner Training, I lead trauma-informed mindful outdoor excursions for individuals and groups. I also serve as an independent professional travel planner and guide and have had the privilege of traveling to 25+ countries to connect deeply with local communities and landscapes.
